Top Affiliate Marketing Platforms

For today’s Marketing Monday topic, I cover top affiliate marketing platforms you should know or at least become familiar with.

Available to you as an affiliate marketer are a number of companies that offer commission based payments for promoting vendor products. However, there are really only a limited number of top affiliate marketing platforms you should know that have both a great reputation and many products for you to choose from.

Amazon Associates

Amazon is the most popular and widely know affiliate programs. You can start earning commissions by promoting any number of the wide variety of products available on their site, and the sign up process is fairly quick and easy.

Amazon associates dashboard gives you all the tools you need so that you can add banners and share links on your own blog. Just be sure to pick products that are popular and have a higher rating.

CJ Affiliate by Conversant

Formerly known as Commission Junction, CJ Affiliate by Conversant is an affiliate marketing platform that represents many different companies.

CJ Affiliate has been in business for years and is one of the top affiliate marketing companies. They offer you a network of large companies to work with once you’re accepted.

However, because of its size and reputation, it can be difficult to get accepted to start. You have to apply to each vendor you would like to promote for consideration. Once you’re accepted, though, it can be very profitable.

Clickbank

Clickbank is another well known and popular site that offers a large number of affiliate programs mainly for digital products.

Through Clickbank, you can promote eBooks and guides as well as video courses and membership sites – with earnings starting at 50% commission level or more.

Clickbank vendors offer some of the highest commissions in the industry. It’s easy to sign up as an affiliate and begin promoting products right away. Just be aware you need to make at least 5 sales from different sources before you will get paid.

Linkshare

Linkshare is one of the early affiliate networking companies that was established online. It also has a simple process for signing up.

Like CJ Affiliate once you’re accepted, you have access to a large number of companies to choose from for product promotion, which includes some very large well known companies.

Share a Sale

Share a Sale offers a number of affiliate programs that gives you access to a large network of over 2,500 merchants whose products you can promote.  Also known for being ethical, Share a sale is easy to use and offers a number of resources for promoting on your own blog or website.

JVZoo

JVZoo is a platform that many affiliates love! That’s because it pays commissions to your PayPal account instantly when sales are made. What a big advantage since most affiliate programs have waiting periods of 60 days or more before payments are made.

With JVZoo the sign up process is simple and offers you access to many products you can promote.

Warrior Plus

Warrior Plus is the affiliate platform that promotes products being sold in the popular Internet marketing Warrior Forum. Even though these products are niche specific involving Internet and online marketing products, you can promote popular Warrior Special Offers, also known as WSOs. It also uses PayPal to deliver payments and has a simple registration process.

Like me, you can sign up with any one or combination of these top affiliate marketing platforms. By doing so, you can leverage each network as they already have in place to promote products. You’ll have access to promotional tools such as banner ads and affiliate links to help make product promotion easier.
