Top Niche Markets for Affiliates
In today’s Marketing Monday, I list top affiliate marketing niches with a brief description for each one I mention below.
The top niche markets are the same for product creators as well as affiliate marketers. They’re approach will be the same. However, niche marketing allows affiliates to make more money because you can combine both tangible and digital opportunities from different vendors within that niche.
Personal Relationships
Personal Relationships are one of the popular top niches online. Basically, people either want to meet compatible matches (like dating services and advice) and people want to save their existing relationships (like their marriage). With this niche, there aren’t many tangible items you can promote. Instead, it’s primarily info product and service related.
Financial
There are plenty of opportunities within the financial niche when it comes to people’s money – or lack of it. Personal finance, credit or debt is just a part of this huge niche. Again this is a niche where the primarily products available to promote will be digital info courses or services.
Also keep in mind that the above two top niches have courses online that normally pay out a nice amount per sale, even recurring – and there are plenty of people searching for either of them online.
Dieting and Weight Loss
Dieting is a niche that’s evergreen in nature, desirable for both genders and age group ranges – plus it offers a great deal of opportunities to sell both digital and physical items. There are many online digital courses to help with dieting and weight loss, with a number of them catering to a specific audience, like baby boomers or women for example.
On the physical product side, you could promote many items in the diet niche including sites like Amazon. You could do a review of an info product course and then pair it with physical product promotions for items like treadmills, elliptical machines, DVD exercise sets, nutritional supplements and more.
Self-Help
Self help is another popular niche. This includes topics like motivation, self-esteem, stress management and time management to mention a few. People are looking for more mindset advice – stress relief for example. You can easily pair an digital info product course promotion along with items like soothing candles, relaxation music, stress-busting gadgets, and even massage technology.
Health – Sleep disorders
Insomnia is a popular niche within the main health niche. Because sleep disorders are very common, there are a number of people looking for help. There are both digital and physical products available for you to promote on your site. Along with a digital course, you could add physical products like better bedding, soothing CDs, sleep masks, white noise machines, and so on.
Beverages – Gourmet Foods
Coffee and other gourmet foods are also popular niches. When you have someone who is an enthusiast for coffee, they’ll spend top dollar on a number of things – including anything from courses teaching them about the topic to special product items like coffee grinders, brewers, beans, and more.
Parenting & Families
Parenting is a popular niche, too. This is a niche where moms and dads look for advice on baby care to raising their kids. but they also have a need for many physical products to get as well including nursery furniture, toys, educational items, clothes and more.
Pets and Animal care
Pets are another great affiliate niche – and you can specialize in one that you enjoy, like dogs, cats, or tropical fish which are the most popular. You can promote both digital info products on items like how to care for tropical fish or how to setup an aquarium – and include physical product items like fancy aquariums, fish food and tank accessories.
Home and Garden
Household items are a huge niche – and this includes both indoor and outdoor items. Homeowners are always buying products like blenders, vacuums, lawnmowers, sheds, gardening supplies and more. They also buy info products to go with them, like how to grow tomatoes – and you could sell everything from plant seeds to soil and the pots they grow in!
