Today we will cover top list building tools for affiliate marketers including autoresponders.
Email marketing is very effective, and whether you’re trying to build relationships with your audience, sell products or services, or build your business, you need to develop your own email list of subscribers. With a system in place to capture email addresses from visitors who sign-up (opt-in) to receive email messages from you, you can start your email marketing campaigns.
List building is an effective way to build your site, and fortunately, there are a number of online tools that make it easy to create and send quality email marketing messages to your audience (list). Some tools are free while others require a small fee.
As your site grows, you may want to pay for additional features and functionality, but you don’t have to pay more if you don’t want to or need to. Some of the most popular and top list building tools for affiliate marketer are noted below to get you started.

These options include broadcast emails, monthly newsletters, capture and manage list of subscribers, social network delivery options, as well as scheduled follow-up series campaigns and even with video. The following two services I mention are not the only ones available to you. In fact, the latest number I saw in a recent review included 87 services!
Aweber
I only mention Aweber because it’s highly popular with affiliate and Internet marketers in the US. Unfortunately, their price structure is also somewhat high when compared to a number of other email marketing providers on a month-to-month basis. We’re not talking tons, but even a few dollars per month can make a difference.

GetResponse
Another very popular well rounded email service provider is GetResponse. Owned by Implix (Poland), they have offices in the US, Canada, and Poland. GetResponse provides a complete email marketing solution including newsletter publishing and hosting features, as well as unlimited follow-up autoresponders to deliver information to your subscribers.
One area GetResponse clearly has a edge over Aweber is when it comes to landing page (squeeze page) creation. You get a landing page creator out of the box, which allows you to make use of 100+ page templates and a drag and drop editor to create a strong landing page.
I don’t like their refund policy because they don’t have one! (Hint: don’t buy an annual plan if you’re not sure about their service for you, you won’t get it back). However, they do offer a Free month trial offer (vs $1 for AWeber).
GetResponse also offer a monthly or annual subscription and have a better price at the low end ($15 per month for up to 1,000 subscribers) compared to AWeber ($19 per month for up to 500 subscribers).
Other popular email marketing services
Other popular email marketing services include: iContact, MailChimp, Constant Contact and a host of others. It is important to have your site easily integrate its opt-in forms with your selected service (why AWeber and GetResponse are popular choices for WordPress integration).
