Hello and welcome to The Smart Affiliate resource site and blog. My name is Michel Snook and I have actively been online as an Internet and affiliate marketer since 2009. I have experience with many systems and programs offers that I have bought throughout those years. Some have been great and many not so good. In that course of time, I have learned what works, and what doesn’t work. And it is always changing!
I tend to favor the more technical side of things since one of my degrees is in electronic technology and computers (my other two degrees are involved with management and small business ownership). I don’t hold back and have been criticized for being brutally honest (sometimes viewed as being pessimistic, when I am actually a realist).
My online success has been very much like a roller coaster with moments of success and a series of failures. My top earning years include 2010 and 2016, both times working as an affiliate marketer. I contribute many of my failures due to jumping around, having too much on my plate at once, going after the next biggest thing (the shiny object syndrome), and not doing those things proven to boost business because I didn’t like paying out for another monthly fee.
But I have come to the realization, whatever you put into a business (online or offline) including your invested time and money is what you will get out of it. If you cannot invest in yourself or business, who else will bother to do it for you?
I now have systems in place, keep with a narrower field of select affiliate programs and working on building my online business through The Smart Affiliate by sharing my experiences with you. I am glad that you are here and invite you to follow me as I continue to build and we can grow together.
