In today’s Traffic Tactics Thursday, I cover 3 powerful forms of viral marketing that will help you build your list.
I’m sure that you have heard by now that “The Money is in the… LIST!”
Okay that fine, but the question is… “How can I effectively build a list that won’t cost me an arm and a leg in the process?”
Well, today is your lucky day – because I’m going to reveal to you 3 of the most powerful ways you can build your targeted opt-in list by using the power of ‘Viral Marketing’.
And the best part about these 3 ‘Viral’ methods I will be sharing is that they cost almost nothing to produce, are highly targeted, can give you instant credibility and are in constant demand by other website owners.
So, now it is time to reveal what these 3 ‘Viral’ methods are and how they will benefit you and your list building efforts.
Method #1 – Writing Special Reports
Special Reports work great because they allow you to go into more depth about a topic or specific problem in question and where you can then provide a solution with your product or service(or affiliate product) will fix their current problem.
Reports can also give you instant credibility, which builds trust with your customer and establishes that you are knowledgeable about your industry.

The big difference with this approach is, you can put together a free ebook or video in less time than it takes to produce a special report. Simply because it doesn’t need to be your own created material inside – it can be from someone else.
Just make sure that you are offering quality information inside the ebook or on the video.
Ebooks also allow you to target more then one product or service inside because they are usually a compilation of related articles addressing a particular problem giving you room to offer more solutions.
Method #3 – Writing guest articles
Writing guest articles is probably one of the best and most effective ways to produce a wave of viral traffic to your website. That’s because most website owners are looking for fresh content to feed to there visitors and subscribers. Just be sure those sites are related to your market or niche.
Articles also allow you to target a specific problem that your audience is dealing with.
Be sure to include at the end of the article – a spot called the ‘resource or author box’ – a brief personal bio and you website link.
Imagine what would happen if your article was picked up by some site owner with a large list or high traffic website. They use it as a ‘featured article’ on their site. Wouldn’t you see a dramatic surge of targeted traffic to your website overnight.
